Colton got his Polar Express train set from Mommy and Daddy. He is so happy. He is also thrilled over this Hot Wheels sphere meteor race car crashing thing. It got handed off to his Uncle Bruce later that day for assembly!
Today, we took Glen to the hospital for some pre-op lab work and the receptionist asked Colton if he had a good Christmas. He smiled and said, "Yes, I did. I got lots of presents." This made Glen and I feel so good because this Christmas the gifts were fewer, but they meant far more. He is so happy that he gets presents for Jesus' Birthday. Somehow, Colton gets it. He had one present under the tree for the longest time and was so happy to have it there. He NEVER pushed, begged, or threw a fit about getting presents. He just wanted one and loved going to the tree and telling me it had his name on it. When he woke up Christmas morning and saw how his one present had multiplied, he grabbed his little face and said with wide eyes, "Oh my goodness!" I hope one day he understands how blessed his dad and I are to have him in our lives. His wisdom and caring is far beyond his precious four years. He is my angel. We were talking about Glen's surgery today and how he would be able to touch Daddy again after surgery and Colton looked at his daddy in excitement and said, "Then will you play with me Dad?!" That is my Christmas wish--That Glen and Colton will be able to play together again. God is able.
