Grandma treated all her grandsons (five in all) to a train excursion on the Arkansas Missouri Railroad to historic VanBuren on August 01. Colton is a veteran train rider but he still enjoys wearing the Conductor's hat when given the opportunity. This trip Mommy got to wear the hat as well! What a treat. Other than triple digit heat and the air going out on our passenger car on the return trip, we had a great time. Colton loved going through the tunnel and the conductor turning the cabin lights off so that we could experience the complete darkness. I have night vision on my camcorder and Colton was smiling ear to ear when we reviewed the tape. He was having a blast. I personally don't want to hear a train whistle anytime soon.
